ABOUT Public Dancer (Login to Contact Public Dancer )

Looking for a good partner for the RIP IT UP dance lessons March and April 2017 in Vienna and their 4/8 Cherry Blossom and 7/4 parade performances. I love to dance but don't do it as much as I might like. Married to a tolerant nondancer, and have lots of other things claiming my time, but would like to know and perform a few routines as well as "free" dance. I don't have the Swing wardrobe (yet?) to go to all the dressy events, but make it up as I can. (I do have the clothes for the parades, tho.) Will you be my partner?

I've been dancing off and on since the 70's, but couldn't tell you the name of most of it. Have taken lessons with GS also on and off since 2008 at the Clarendon Ballroom (please come back to Arlington, GottaSwing!) and occasionally in DC. Sometimes I make it to events I'm invited to (thanks Tom and Paul!). My last 'real' class was Thriller last year.

Singing (have a degree in Opera, but my faves are Broadway, Gilbert and Sullivan, pop, and American Standards). Dancing--lots of different types--I can fake a lot of it! The beach--we bought a place in Rehoboth that takes me away many off-season weekends--lots of singing there but hardly any dancing! I live and work in Arlington, but am originally a DC native. Love my husband and our 2 big dogs. I joined the GottaSwing bikers once and looking forward to another ride sometime this year. I don't care to put my birth year, but we can say 40s-60s--tho happy to dance with any age! References upon request!
